Our Best 10 Days Morocco Trip from Tangier to Marrakechbegins today. After your arrival at the Tangier port, you will have a visit to the American Legion museum, markets. We visit also Tangier museum, the Mendoubia Gardens, and the legendary Hercules caves. After that, we head to Chefchaouen. This blue city was founded in 1471. It’s an opportunity to enjoy the view of the magnificent forests and streams. Its architecture is Spanish-style surrounded by many art and craft shops. After lunch, the journey continues to the spiritual city of Fes. It is an imperial city of the eighth century, and one of the first holy cities of Muslim culture. After having a rest at your riad, you will have first contact with the city. Overnight and accommodation will be in the majestic old medina.

 


 

Day 2: Fez (Guided visit to the cultural city)

Today is dedicated to the guided tour. you will discover the attractive Medina, the primitive mosque which was founded in the middle of the 9th Century. We visit also El Quaraouyine University, the tomb of Moulay Idriss “the founder of Fes city”, the Nejjarine quarter sheltering the museum Nejjarine of arts and trades of wood, You discover also the Medersa Seffarine which was specialized in the teaching of Theology and grammar, Mellah “the Jewish ” and souks. Finally, we head to the Medersa Bou Anania which was built during the Marinid dynasty and functions as a school. This Madrasa is open to no-Muslims else. The night will be in your same Riad.

 

 

 


 

Day 3: Fez – Ifrane – Erfoud – Merzouga Erg Chebbi Dunes

The tour continues today towards the desert. you will begin your ascent through the mountains of the Middle Atlas. Almost all day will be spent crossing forests, Berber villages, and the Atlas Mountains. Going down to the Sahara desert, you will make a stop in Midelt for lunch. You continue your way to the famous city for its rocks and fossils. An opportunity to visit its factories for the manufacture of marble and also its souk of dates Finally, you continue towards Merzouga. Night and dinner will be in a hotel in front of the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi.

 

 

 


 

Day 4: Merzouga (4×4 Tour around the dunes – Camel trekking – Night in a luxury Camp

This stage enables you to benefit from splendid sunrise and sunset on the tops of the dunes. Today, you will have the tour dunes by 4×4. It’s an opportunity to visit nomad tents and to have an idea about their lifestyle and traditions. The program contains a visit to Khamliya. The inhabitants of the village are of sub-Saharan black origin; they are known by the music of Gnawa. Late afternoon, you will have a camel trekking towards the desert camp in the middle of Erg Chebbi dunes.

 

 

 


 

Day 5: Merzouga – Todra gorges – Dades valley

After attending the sunrise over the dunes, you return to the hostel for a shower and breakfast. Continue via Rissani and Tinjdad to the Saghro Mountains in Tinghir and the Todra Gorge cliffs. You can take a walk along the river surrounded by cliffs and green areas until the end of the gorge. Your driver meets you there to continue the circuit to the city of Boumalne and the Gorge of Dades. From here, you will visit the nomadic caves and have tea with them to enjoy their simplicity in life. Finally, you return back to the gorges. Dinner and accommodation will be in a guest house. An opportunity to benefit from the traditions of the Berber families: cook for example.

 

 


 

Day 6: Dades valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Departure from the gorges to Marrakech via Kelaat M’Gouna. It’s a famous city with its roses. The city celebrates an annual festival of Pinks. On our road, we may see gum products extracted from roses. Our private 4×4 tour continues to Sekoura Oasis where we will visit AMREDIL Kasbah. We reach the “Moroccan holly-wood” city Ouarzazate. An opportunity to visit the cine studios and Taourirt Kasbah. After, we will have a stop in Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah: the site was declared as a heritage world by UNESCO in 1987. Several films were shot in the kasbah like the Mummy, Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Astérix… late afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech. Dinner and overnight will be in a Riad near Jamaa Lafna square.

 


 

Day 7: Marrakech

The city tour of Marrakech with an English-speaking guide is the program of the day. You will visit the historic Menara: a magnificent pool surrounded by flower beds, which reflects the image of a beautiful Moorish edifice, the tour features several notorious monuments. In addition, the visit includes the mind relaxing Majorelle gardens and the Koutoubia Minaret (identical to the la Giralda tower in Sevilla, Spain). You will also visit the Saadian tombs which represent Moorish architecture at its finest. The tombs are very important to see that were not discovered behind the walls until 1917. This tour also will include a walk in the alley of the different parts of the Market. You may conclude your day with a drink at sunset, overlooking the bustling Jamaa El Fna square. Overnight and dinner will be at your same Riad.

 


 

Day 8: Marrakech –Essaouira

We will drive today towards Essaouira. a local guide makes you a visit to its fishing port. It’s a site inscribed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. The Jewish quarter El Mellah, the Skala, and the picturesque souks are more important to see in the city. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will have free time to relax and to explore the city. Dinner and overnight will be in a hotel.

 

 

 


 

Day 9: Essaouira – Casablanca – Rabat

After breakfast, your tour continues to the economic capital of Morocco Casablanca. There, you will have a visit of Hassan 2 mosque, Ain Diab Beach, an antique law court from the age of colonization. After, you continue to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco where you will have a guided visit. A local guide takes you to visit Hassan Tower, the old medina, Oudayas, Bab Shella, Hassan II tombs. Dinner and accommodation will be in a Riad.

 

 


 

Day 10: Rabat – Tangier
