Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

The first day of our 14 Days Casablanca private desert trip begins at Casablanca. We will visit Hassan 2 mosque (the 3rd largest in the world), The Church of the Sacred Heart built-in 1930. It looks like a Gothic cathedral and it has been used as a conference and exhibition center, the Mahkama Pasha building in Habous district, then Casablanca beach. Then we drive towards Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. Afternoon, you will have free time to relax and walk in the city. Finally, overnight we will be at a local Riad in the medina or in hotel 5*.

 

 

 


 

Day 2: Discover Rabat (guided city tour)

The city is situated on the Atlantic coast. It is the political and administrative capital of Morocco. it was conceived at the time of the French Protectorate at the beginning of the 20th century and embodies a distinctive architectural and decorative style that is characteristic of contemporary Morocco. You will have a visit to the city with a local guide starting at the Royal Palace, then Chellah Necropolis, Hassan tour, and Mohamed the 5th mausoleum. After lunch, we will also have a guided walking tour of the Medina followed by a free afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay will be in a Riad.

 

 


 

Day 3: Rabat – Chefchaouen

We drive toward the north to Chefchaouen. You will have a guided tour of Medina and also a free program. Here we spend two nights at a local riad. Dinners and breakfasts are included in the Riad.

 

 

 

 

 


 

Day 4: The blue city Chefchaouen “Chaouen”

Chefchaouen is a real small Rif’s mountain town. It’s a hot destination for all clients who visit Morocco, especially the European ones. Besides its rich history, it offers many native handicrafts that are not available elsewhere in Morocco, such as wool garments and woven blankets. The goat cheese native to the area is popular all over the north of Morocco. The city tour of Chefchaouen at leisure on foot is to explore the beautiful town’s blue and white houses and streets. We will visit the historical Kasbah there, also a cooperative of goat cheese. The night will be in the same Riad.

 

 


 

Day 5: Chefchaouen – Tangier – Asilah

Today, we leave Chefchaouen to reach Tangier. In Tangier, we will explore its local Medina. You will also explore the Mediterranean beach part and also the Atlantic coast. Then we will visit Asilah and where we will stay overnight in a local riad.

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

Day 6: The cultural city Asilah – Fez

After breakfast, we will discover and explore Asilah in the morning. We will drive to Fes where we will spend 2 nights in a local riad in the old medina.

 

 

 

 


 

Day 7: Fez (Guided city tour)

The Journey is dedicated to discovering the city, we will visit the spiritual and cultural Capital of Morocco. We start exploring the ancient Fes Medina, the Royal Palace, and then we drive through the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter, Bab Boujloud. We will also visit labyrinthine Fes El-Bali, Morocco’s largest medina, then the 17th-century Medersas (schools), the Karaouine University. The old Medina is classified as a UNESCO heritage world site. Overnight there will be will at a riad in the medina.

 

 


 

Day 8: Fez – Ifrane- Midelt – Erfoud

After breakfast, we start our Morocco tour driving towards Merzouga dunes, crossing the Middle Atlas mountains. We will benefit from breathing the pure air that comes from the Cedar forests. In this area, we will have stops for taking pictures in panoramic views. We drive till Ziz valley and palm groves of Tafilalet – oasis. After, we continue to Erfoud where we will visit the marble factory for fossil production. The night will be in Erfoud this night at the local riad.

 

 


 

Day 9: Erfoud – Merzouga

We start our tour to Erg Chebbi in Merzouga for an overnight stay in the bivouac near the highest dunes in Morocco. But before that, we will visit Rissani, the mausoleum of the founder of the Alaouite dynasty, and the Kasbahs. We continue our tour to experience the lifestyle of the Nomads in our off-road excursion by 4×4 to the breathtaking Erg Chebbi desert. We will visit the Nomad families who live in tents. Then, we attend a local music/dance performance in Khamlia. Late afternoon we will ride camels to the desert camp and we will spend the night in a traditional Berber tent in the middle of the Merzouga dunes.

 

 


 

Day 10: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra gorges – Sekoura – Ouarzazate

Today, our south Morocco tour continues. After riding camels back to the hotel, we depart the desert via the ancient desert town of Rissani heading to the dramatic Todra Gorges where we will walk along the river. Then, we continue to Boulemane Dades where we visit the gorges. We drive through Kalaa Magouna (the road of thousands of Kasbah). The city is famous for its roses and rose products (we will visit the roses factory where they make rose products). Then we continue to Skoura to visit Ameridil Kasbah. After, we drive to Ouarzazate to visit a local film studio. overnight in Ouarzazate.

 

 


 

Day 11: Marrakech (free program)

Today, we drive to Marrakech; we will have a free program in the afternoon. The night will be in a Riad.

 

 


 

 

Day 12: Marrakech

After breakfast, we offer you an opportunity to explore Marrakech. We will visit the best places in the red city “Marrakech”. We will visit Menara, the minaret of Koutoubia (the Twin tower of Giralda in Seville, in Spain,) the tombs of Saadian which are composed of the splendid mausoleums built in the 16th century, the gardens Majorels. After lunch, we will explore the souk near the famous Jamaa Efna square. You will also have the possibility to explore this square by yourself. The overnight and dinner will be at a local riad in Marrakech.

 

 


 

Day 13: Marrakech ” Free day”


Today, you will have a free program. The overnight will be also in a local riad in Marrakech.


 

Day 14: Marrakech – Casablanca (Transfer to the airport)
