Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fez
Today is the first day of your tour “4 days desert trip from Tangier to Marrakech”. Our driver will meet you at the Tangier port. you will make the start crossing the Rif mountains. you will pass through the city of Tetouan the beautiful mountains to enjoy the panoramic views. you will arrive in the blue city of Chefchaouen. It is one of the magnificent regions at the foot of the Rif mountains. The medina has a great charm with its Spanish style surrounded by many art and craft shops. you will visit the medina to discover the monuments of Moorish civilization. lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will have free time to rest and take a walk to explore its souk and its alleys. dinner and overnight will be in a typical riad.
Day 2: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Gorges du Ziz – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
You will depart for the city of Ifrane and Azrou in the middle of the mountains of the Middle Atlas mountains. you will make stops in the cedar forest to see barbarian apes in their natural habitat. you will continue your journey south via the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt. you will enjoy the sublime landscapes of the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved into volcanic rock. After lunch, you will continue your journey through the Ziz valley to Erfoud.
This city is known for fossils and factories for the manufacture of several marble products. Arriving in Merzouga, After a glass of mint tea, you will take a camel ride to a luxury Berber camp in the middle of the dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest sand dunes in North Africa. The camel trek lasts about 1h30 from the camp. The tents are well equipped with mattresses, blankets, and cushions. After dinner, we will gather around the fire and enjoy the sound of traditional Berber drums under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
We will wake up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the dunes and then return to the hotel on the back of a camel. After refreshment and breakfast, we will depart for Tinghir and the Todra Gorge and finally, arrive in the Dades Valley where we will have dinner overnight.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountain – Marrakech
Today, you will cross the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and the Hollywood city Ouarzazate. The Way of the Thousand Kasbahs offers many photo opportunities. you will visit the Valley of Roses to see many products extracted from roses. After, you continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. Lunch will be served in a restaurant in Ait Ben Haddou kasbah. you have a visit to this UNESCO World Heritage Site declared in 1987. after you will continue through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, reaching an altitude of 2260m, above the High Atlas mountains to Marrakech. You will stop to enjoy the impressive views and visit the argan oil cooperative. you will arrive in Marrakech at the end of the afternoon. it’s the end of our service.
