Day 1: Tangier – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen

Today is the beginning of your 6 days Tangier Marrakech Merzouga desert tour. you will be a professional guide at the airport / Raid, we will leave the city of Tangier towards the blue city “Chefchaouen ” crossing the Rif mountains. These mountains are part of the beauty and
magic of this beautiful country. Of course, we will have a lot of stops to take the photo in different panoramic views. We will arrive at the blue pearl Chefchaouen. To rest. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the city on your own. The night will be at the Riad in the old medina.

 

 


 

Day 2: Chefchaouen- Volubilis (Roman ruins) – Meknes- Fez

We will leave the city of Chefchaouen after a traditional breakfast. You will cross the Rif mountains and the green fields which are full of different types of products. You will arrive at the Roman site (Volubilis) which is a partly excavated Berber town in Morocco located near the city of Meknes. These ruins are built in a fertile agricultural area, developed in the third century. We will continue to Meknes where we will have lunch and explore the main site of the city (Bab Mansour, Sahrij Souani, El hdim square …) Then we will continue to Fez, the first imperial city of the Kingdom of Morocco. The night will be in a Riad in the heart of the old medina.

 

 


 

Day 3: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Medal – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast, our itinerary today is to head to the Sahara Desert. You will cross the mountains of the Middle Atlas. On our way, we will cross the town of Ifrane which is nicknamed “Moroccan Switzerland” because of its construction.

You will continue to the homeland of native barbarian apes including the cedar forest. After crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains, you will see many tents and caves of nomadic families before stopping at the town of Midelt. The latter is famous for its apples. When you arrive in Merzouga, you will set off on the back of camels to spend the night in a luxury bivouac. Your dinner will be served under the stars enjoying the music of the desert.

 

 


 

Day 4: Merzouga – Taouz – Ramlia – Tafraout

After enjoying the sunrise in the heart of the, your camel driver will take you back to the hotel where you will have breakfast. You will also take a hot shower. The adventure trip will take us about 8 hours of road to the village of Tafraout in the middle of the black desert.

The day will include the discovery of the former military zones of the French colony during its occupation in Morocco. You will also visit the tents of the families to discover their daily life. Our lunch will be traditional and organized by us as part of our daily diet. You will continue crossing the mountains to accommodation near the village of Tafraout.

 

 


 

Day 5: Tafraout – Alnif – Todra Gorges- Dades valley

Now you will have plenty of time to explore the farms and the type of agriculture people use in this area. On our way, we will enjoy different desert landscapes. We head to the Todra Gorge to explore this magnificent place. We will arrive at the Dades gorges where we will spend one night in a typical hotel that looks out over the valley.

 

 

 


 

Day 6: Dades valley – Roses valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Today we will travel off-road and explore the region between the Dades Valley and the Rose Valley. We will meet the local nomads, some of whom still live in caves and tents. In Kelaa M’Gouna, we collect around 4000 tons of rose petals which are transformed into rosewater or exported for the perfume industry. A rose festival is held here in May every year. We will continue to the Sekoura kasbah which is surrounded by an impressive palm grove.

An opportunity to visit the “Amredil” Kabah. After, we will continue south to arrive at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. the Kasbah is most famous in the film industry. Many films were shot at this site including Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky, and Gladiator. The Kasbah has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. Afterward, we will cross the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n Tichka pass to arrive in Marrakech. This is the end of your experience with our professional team.
